What is left from the dinosaurs? Living dinosaurs and fossils learning. What animals are alive today that are related to dinosaurs? What plants are still around? Learn about living dinosaurs here, and here's an interesting video to study before completing your dinosaur unit. What do you believe? Ask the children what they believe.

Dinosaurs left many fossils like bones, fossilized dinosaur dung (yep poop), and eggs. But they also left feet print. How? Here's an article to learn all about how dinosaur's prints would survive to be fossils. Now let's make our own foot print casts to leave behind!

Exploration:
Dinosaur egg treasure hunt. Fill a few eggs for each child with growing dinosaurs (grow when put in water) and hide them. Let the children go on a dino egg hunt to find the eggs and then grow each dinosaur after the hunt had ended.
